What does my complete setup cost?
Start with your plan and active member capacity, then add only the extras you need. An own-name app store listing and Pulse door integration cost extra. Kisi subscriptions, hardware and installation are quoted separately. Payment processing, Pulse’s platform fee and taxes are additional. Use the calculator to separate recurring software, one-off setup and estimated payment fees.
Can Pulse support 1,000 members?
Yes. Core includes 300 active members, Grow 600 and Pro 1,200. Lower plans can add capacity in blocks of 100; you do not have to upgrade solely because your gym grows. The calculator compares capacity-adjusted costs and recommends the lowest-cost plan with your selected tools. Member allowances and SMS allowances are separate.
Is a branded member app included?
Every plan includes the Pulse Member app with your gym’s logo and branding inside. Members download the Pulse Member listing. Your own gym name and icon on a separate App Store and Google Play listing is a paid add-on with a one-off setup charge. This is a branded listing, not an unlimited custom app development service.
What fees apply to membership payments?
For Australian payments, the published BECS rate is Stripe’s 1% + A$0.30, capped at A$3.50 for Stripe’s portion, plus Pulse’s 0.8% platform fee. Domestic cards are Stripe’s 1.7% + A$0.30 plus Pulse’s 0.8%. For a successful A$50 payment, that is approximately A$1.20 by BECS or A$1.55 by domestic card. Other transaction types, taxes and regional charges may differ. USD subscription pricing does not set your gym’s operating currency.
