AI Business Coach v2
Powered by GPT-4o — deeper, faster, more specific gym intelligence
The AI Business Coach has been rebuilt on GPT-4o with a new reasoning layer that understands gym-specific context — membership tiers, seasonal patterns, equipment lifecycle, and Australian market benchmarks. Version 2 moves from reactive Q&A to proactive intelligence: it surfaces insights before you ask, flags anomalies in real time, and delivers recommendations with specific next steps rather than generic advice.
12 New Insight Types
Revenue per square metre benchmarking
Class profitability analysis by instructor
Seasonal churn risk early warning
Membership tier upgrade propensity scoring
PT session utilisation vs capacity gap
New member 30/60/90-day engagement scoring
Peak-hour demand forecasting
Equipment ROI vs fleet average comparison

Staff productivity vs member satisfaction correlation
Cash flow 90-day rolling forecast
Competitive price positioning alert
How it Works
The AI Business Coach connects directly to your live Pulse data — member records, billing, class bookings, equipment logs, and financial reports. It runs 12 analysis types on a nightly cycle and surfaces the highest-priority insights on your dashboard each morning. You can also ask it anything in plain English via the chat interface and receive data-backed answers specific to your gym.
Who It's For
Available on Growth ($199/mo) and Pro ($349/mo) plans. Pro plan unlocks all 12 insight types and natural language querying.

Equipment Predictive Maintenance Alerts
AI-powered failure forecasting based on usage patterns, age, and service history
VERVE Pulse now analyses equipment usage hours, service history, reported faults, and manufacturer lifecycle data to predict which pieces of equipment are most likely to require maintenance or fail in the next 30–90 days. Alerts are delivered to the gym owner or operations manager 2–4 weeks before projected failure, giving time to schedule service without disrupting member access or facing emergency repair costs.
What It Monitors
Cumulative usage hours vs manufacturer service schedule
Fault and error log frequency trends
Days since last service vs recommended interval
Equipment age against expected lifespan
Member feedback tags (e.g. "belt slipping", "noisy")
Alert Types
Service Due Soon — within 14 days of recommended schedule
End of Useful Life — replacement recommended within 6 months
Warranty Expiring — 60-day warning before warranty lapses
Who It's For
All plans. Equipment tracking must be set up (takes approximately 20 minutes for a full gym).

Multi-Site Consolidated P&L Dashboard
One view across all locations — compare sites, spot underperformers, allocate resources
Multi-site gym operators can now view a consolidated financial dashboard across all locations from a single login. The P&L dashboard breaks down revenue, costs, and profit by site, with side-by-side comparison views, variance reporting (actual vs target), and the ability to drill into any individual location. The dashboard updates daily from each site's billing and booking data — no manual consolidation or spreadsheet exports required.
Dashboard Modules
Consolidated MRR and ARR across all sites
Per-site revenue, cost, and margin comparison
Member count and churn rate by location
Site vs site performance benchmarking
Group-level cash flow (rolling 90 days)
Underperforming site flagging with AI diagnosis
Access & Permissions
Group-level dashboard is visible to the account owner and any users with "Group Admin" permission. Individual site managers see their site only. Group Admin access can be granted without sharing financial data across sites.
Who It's For
Pro plan ($349/mo) — operators with 2 or more gym locations. Single-site owners see their existing individual dashboard.

Churn Prediction Model v2 — 89% Accuracy
Retrained on 14 months of gym member behaviour data — identifies at-risk members 3–6 weeks earlier
The VERVE Pulse churn prediction model has been retrained on anonymised gym member behavioural data accumulated since launch. Version 2 achieves 89% prediction accuracy — up from 71% in v1 — by incorporating 18 behavioural signals including visit frequency decay, class booking abandonment, payment friction, and engagement with communications. At-risk members are now identified an average of 3.4 weeks earlier, giving gym teams significantly more time to intervene before a member cancels.
18 Behavioural Signals Tracked
Visit frequency (weekly rolling average)
Trend: visit frequency 4-week change
Class booking starts vs completions ratio
Days since last check-in
Failed payment history
PT session drop-off
App login frequency
Email open rate (last 8 sends)
Support ticket or complaint history
Membership pause history
What's New in v2
Risk score shown on every member profile (Low / Medium / High / Critical)
Automated intervention trigger: High-risk members receive a personalised reactivation sequence automatically
Weekly at-risk member report delivered to gym owner via email/SMS
"Saved members" tracking: see which at-risk members retained following an automated intervention
Who It's For

Members can book classes, check in via QR code, view their progress and visit history, receive direct push notifications, and access their account and billing details — all without logging into a website. 7 February 2026v1.0.8Improvement
Stripe Integration Improvements
Smarter failed payment recovery, updated fee reporting, and international card support
The Stripe billing integration has been updated with three significant improvements. Failed payment recovery now uses an intelligent retry schedule (Day 1, Day 3, Day 7, Day 14) rather than a fixed retry, reducing failed payment churn by an average of 22% in beta testing. Payment fee reporting now breaks down Stripe fees, GST, and net revenue separately on all financial reports. International card support has been expanded to accept 45+ currencies, with automatic AUD conversion for Australian reporting.
What Changed
Smart retry schedule (adaptive, not fixed-interval)
Member self-serve payment update via app or email link
Fee reporting: gross, Stripe fees, net — all separate lines
International card acceptance (45 currencies)
Automatic currency conversion to AUD for P&L reports
Dispute and chargeback workflow in dashboard
Why It Matters
Failed payments are the leading cause of involuntary churn — members who intended to stay but lost access due to a billing failure. For a gym with 500 members and 3% monthly failed payment rate, reducing that by 22% saves approximately $2,900/month in recovered revenue. No action required from gym owners — improvements apply automatically to all Stripe-connected accounts.
Who It's For
All plans using Stripe as the payment processor (default for all new Pulse accounts).
For all plans — automatic, no action required
2 February 2026v1.0.6Integration
Xero Accounting Sync — Beta
Two-way sync between VERVE Pulse and Xero — no more manual exports or double-entry
VERVE Pulse now connects directly to Xero, Australia's most widely used accounting platform for small and medium businesses. In beta, the integration syncs daily: membership revenue, refunds, payment fees, staff payroll data, and equipment purchase records are automatically pushed to your Xero account with the correct chart of accounts mapping. Invoices raised in Pulse are mirrored in Xero, and Xero bank reconciliation is pre-populated with Pulse transaction data, eliminating manual data entry for most gym bookkeeping tasks.
What Syncs to Xero
Membership revenue (daily journal entries)
Refunds and membership credits
Stripe processing fees (as cost of sales)
Member invoices and receipts
Staff payroll totals (from Pulse schedules)
Equipment purchases and depreciation records
GST collection for BAS reporting
Beta Notes
Xero sync is in public beta — fully functional but we recommend reviewing the first two weeks of synced transactions with your accountant to confirm chart of accounts mapping is correct for your business. Beta users receive priority support and early access to MYOB integration (coming Q2 2026).
Who It's For
Growth and Pro plans. Setup takes approximately 15 minutes via Settings → Integrations → Xero. Requires a Xero account (any plan).
